Lark Lane Reading Group
A minimum number of people are required to start a new reading group beginning this month above the Lark Lane gallery.
Anyone interested in discussing 'Chocolat' by Joanne Harris, meetings are at the Greendays cafe on Tuesday afternoons at either 3 or 4pm, as the cafe closes 5.30 pm.

Garston Funders Fair - To Community And Voluntary Organisations In South Liverpool
Garston and District Community Council is pleased to invite you to a funders fair on:
Tuesday 29th May 2007
between 10.00am and 3.00pm
in the Booth Hall, the Bridge Chapel Centre, Garston.
This is an informal event so community and voluntary groups can drop in any time during the day to discuss funding opportunities and the support to complete applications.
Funding and support organisations who will be at the event so far are:

LCVS
Expanding Horizons
South Liverpool PCT
Hemby Trust
Liverpool Culture Company
PH Holt Charitable Trust
Comtechsa
Community Champions
Refreshments and hot food can be obtained reasonably priced from the Bistro within the building. The Bridge Chapel Centre has full disabled access and ample free car parking which is signposted as you drive into the Chapel grounds off Heath Road.

“Windrush Generation”, written by Tom Mclennan. Play
about the voyage of the SS Empire Windrush in 1948,
carrying four hundred West Indians looking for
employment in England, a key event in history of
multi-cultural Britain.
The drama brings out the tensions caused by the
historic voyage. Supported by Liverpool’s Capital of
Culture Company and Awards for All Lottery Fund.
