~ meet at 1.30 The Lighthouse (former cinema) @ junction of Oakfield Road & and St. Domingo Vale
[bus no. 26 stops in Oakfield Rd; no. 14 in Breck Road, a short walk away]
Florence Gersten will lead the walk around Anfield:
The Inspector who presided over the last summer's Pathfingder public enquiry has now recommended against the objectors. This means the loss of nearly 2000 houses in the Smithdown Road area, in Edge Hill, and in Anfield. By far the largest number of houses is in Anfield, which also of these three areas includes much the greatest variety of terraced housing. It is the Anfield area which this walk will encompass.
No fixed charge, but donations for photocopying and postage will be appreciated.
